Proposal
Design
Every project starts with an in-person or virtual consultation. At this initial consultation, we will go over the project needs, goals, budget and timeline. A designer is someone you should trust and quite frankly, someone you like! We want to ensure that you feel 100% comfortable moving froward with our team.
A custom proposal is drafted outlining project scope, estimated design time and/or fees, along with billing and procurement information. We feel that transparency is a must and prefer to be up front with our time and services. B. Morton Design will not start any work until an agreed upon proposal is received.
This is where the fun really begins! Through mood boards, 3D renderings and more, we will work to communicate the full design of your project. All designs go through various approval processes in order to ensure it is exactly what you had in mind. No need to worry with us in charge!

Bidding
We can't forget the finishing touches! This last phase focuses on turning a beautiful vision into YOUR home. During this phase, B. Morton Design handles the specifications, ordering, and installation of all new furniture, window treatments and accessories to complete the project.
It's one thing to design a beautiful space but at B. Morton Design we pride ourselves on being able to communicate and oversee our designs from start to finish. We are here to be your advocate and ensure that quality design is being implemented.
So how much is this going to cost? The next phase of our process aligns our designs with budget and schedule. We understand that you may already have preferred contractors that you typically work with. However, if this is not the case, we are able to provide you with our full preferred vendors and contractors list.
